The Heart of Giving.

In December 2008, a group of Central Progressive Bank Associates on behalf of the CPB Associate Jean Day Fund gathered with representatives from Food Bank of Covington, Tangi Food Pantry, Bogalusa Help Center, Denham Springs Food Pantry, Kid’s Kids, Safe Harbor Battered Women’s and Children’s Center and American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life to celebrate the collection and presentation of funds. A total of $2,100.00 was presented to charities located in the four parishes they serve.

The money was raised by CPB associates who donate $1.00 every Friday for the privilege of wearing jeans to work. The money is then donated to different charitable organizations.

One dollar at a time we invest in our community. CPB associates are at the heart of giving. The CPB Associate Jean Day Fund will continue to grow and benefit numerous worthy causes.
